Adeyemi joined Horpe-Net in 2009 as the Group MD and as one of the Principal Partners of company. Under his leadership Horpe-Net Group registered operations in the United States, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic, Gabon, Rwanda servicing prestigious Customers like Ericsson, Airtel, Alcatel, Huawei, Tigo-Millicoms, Moov and MTN
Prior to his joining Horpe-net, he was the Head of Division, Access Network Rollout & Implementation/Programme Management for Zain (Now Airtel Networks) Nigeria, a foremost GSM company in Nigeria. In this leadership capacity he was responsible for the end to end project delivery of the Access Network implementation and the drawing out of rollout and Vendor management strategies for Zain Nigeria in meeting its yearly rollout targets which averaged about 1000 sites per year (a yearly CAPEX of $500million and OPEX of $150million). He was also responsible for the coaching and mentoring of his project team (i.e. the Access Implementation project team) which was 11 Project Managers (i.e. 7 regional managers and 4 central vendor managers), 19 Project leaders and 23 Project officers strong.Part of his duty in this role was to manage the equipment vendors (like Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia-Siemens, Harris stratex, Motorola among others) on behalf of Zain Nigeria (now Airtel networks).
His previous appointment was as the Project manager in charge of the Regional BSS & Transmission planning, Implementation and maintenance functions for the North West Region of Zain Nigeria.
Adeyemi started his career as a Project Engineer in a Rural Electrification Company (Agency for Rural Development, Sokoto- Nigeria) before he joined Deo Makro Limited as a Senior Project Engineer in charge of Transmission link implementation and maintenance. He later joined Telnet Network Services, Nigeria to function as a Network Engineer in charge of Wide Area Networking (VSAT) & Metropolitan Area Networking solutions deployment for banks and Oil companies. He later left Telnet (ipNX) in his capacity as the Head of VSAT Crew to join Globacom Nigeria where he managed the Network Implementation & maintenance of the company’s Borno state Axis.
Adeyemi is a global expert in Project Management who holds a unique and prestigious certification as a PRINCE2 Practitioner and a membership of PMI. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in Nigeria and a Masters in Business Administration(MBA) degree from the prestigious and globally highly-rated University of Manchester(Manchester Business School),United Kingdom. Also, he is a Cisco Certified Network Associate and a Certified ISO9000:2000(Quality Management System) Auditor. He is also a registered practicing Engineer in Nigeria (COREN) and a registered member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
Akin is an Accounting and business professional with many years of experience in all aspects of accounting and financialmanagement. He demonstrates hands-on management style in the development andimplementation of strategic plans to ensure company growth with proven ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently while meeting tight deadline schedules.He also demonstrates success in streamlining existing operations, identifying areas for improvement, envisioning new concepts and future trends. He has advance knowledge and understanding of GAAP and monthly closing processes. Also, he demonstrates advance understanding of financial reporting and management P&L.
Akin has BBA, Accounting from the Kennesaw State University – Michael J.Coles College of Business, USA and graduated Summa cum laude. He also has MBA, Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, GA USA.He hasthe following honors to his credit ; Golden Key International Honor Society and Coles College of Business Dean’s List.
Odutayo joined Horpe-Net in 2009 as the Executive Director in charge of HR and Administration and as one of the Principal Partners of company. She plans, organizes and directs the activities and staff of the Human Resources/Admin Department, including recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee benefits, environmental, health and safety, organizational development and training, payroll, affirmative action, and risk management. The human resources in Horpe-Net had grown under her in all the countries where Horpe-Net is currently established.
Prior to her joining Horpe-Net, she was a Social Worker with the Lagos State Ministry of Youth Sports and Social Development in Nigeria. While working at The Lagos State Rehabilitation and Vocational Training Centre, Isheri, Lagos-Nigeria, she undertook the charge of counselling wards/rehabilitees admitted into the institutions established by the government. She also managed and counselled wards/rehabilitees assigned to her and supervise their activities.
